Best Way I have found to keep Fader caps on

I tried Silicon and concrete sealer... they worked for a lil while... but since i am a turntabilist and I am hard on my upfaders and crossfader, i found this to be the most solid fix.. I taook the fader caps off and got a very small piece of duct tape and wrapped it around the actual part that sticks up out of the mixer, (being careful not to overlap at all) and pushed the fader cap back down on it and it is snug as can be....No longer comes off in the case as it did before or mid set... If you are having this problem with your fader caps I would advise you to do this... cheapest and best fix I found out there.

I did this with my old mixer. I still to this day cant take that one damn fader cap off! haha

thanks for sharing....I will do just that....I've been spinning without the fader head for awhile and its not the same....

best technique ever. just done it now they're like new, can't believe i've been using small bits of blu-tak for so long. thanks!

I actually like this. I've been taking a small lighter to the bottom of the fader cap and melting the plastic slightly so its tighter...
