CDJ Timecode?

Hey peeeps,
Had my 1210's/SL3 for a few months now & fairly confident with setup & ish. I have a gig this weekend & there will be 1000mk3's supplied, but I have never used cd timecode before. I'm guessing it shouldn't be too difficult, I could even rock up & soundcheck a couple hours before I head to my residency beforehand as I know the promoter but would it be necissary? Is there anything I need to look out for, first time using CD timecode? anyone think it's risky?
Also, anyone tried the free loopmasters SP-6 samplepack on the homepage, any good? (I'm at work :/)
Thankayou :)

If you search you may find a 72 min timecode out there to burn to disc to run in rel mode...

Good tip, is that bootleg tc, though? is it stable? It doesn't seem like it would make that much difference. Restarting the tc track every now & then isn't that difficult?

You can download the official timecode to burn to cd if you've lost the cd's that came with your SL3. Does that answer your question?

Pretty sure he was just asking if there was anything particularly different.
If you've never used them before, I'd think a bit of testing before hand would definitely be a good idea.

Do a loop of the CD timecode before you start your set. Then never worry about running out of timecode again (until it gets ejected / reinserted).
