Video Frame Freezes On Channel 2 Every Couple Of Seconds And Can't Make It Stop

HI, I searched all around the forum for an answer but can't find it. My problem is that while I'm mixing videos the right channel freezes a frame and stays on while the videos plays. It goes away after a minute or so and then it does it again even if I switch videos! The same video plays fine on the left channel.

I'm thinking it might be an effect which I can't figure out how to turn off. I have a new Macbook Pro 2011, and a new Rane 57SL. Please help it's driving me nuts and I have a gig tomorrow.

Hi DjMichaelangel,

Sorry for the delayed reply, your help thread came through outside our regular office hours.

Its certainly not an effect that I know of.
At first guess it may be a USB buffering issue. Where are your audio/video files stored ? If its on an external hard drive what make and model ?
How many audio/video files do you have in your Serato library ?
What are your Video-SL Buffer settings On ? Do you have V-sync and Frame blending enabled ?

Could you also confirm which version of Scratch Live you are using ( bottom left corner of the Scratch live Setup screen ) also the 5 digit build number.

Also could you confirm that you have Perian for Mac installed on your laptop. If not the download link is here: perian.org

Could you give me your video card details also.

Let me know these couple of things and we'll take it from there.
