Sorry for the delayed reply, your help thread came through outside our regular office hours.
Its certainly not an effect that I know of.
At first guess it may be a USB buffering issue. Where are your audio/video files stored ? If its on an external hard drive what make and model ?
How many audio/video files do you have in your Serato library ?
What are your Video-SL Buffer settings On ? Do you have V-sync and Frame blending enabled ?
Could you also confirm which version of Scratch Live you are using ( bottom left corner of the Scratch live Setup screen ) also the 5 digit build number.
Also could you confirm that you have Perian for Mac installed on your laptop. If not the download link is here:
perian.org
Could you give me your video card details also.
Let me know these couple of things and we'll take it from there.
