Who Loves 80's Music?

Alvaro 4:54 AM - 10 July, 2011
Here's a recent mix i made of 99% of 80's songs...theres 1 or 2 that are early 90's (whatever)

Thought I'd share...feel free to critique any flaws you hear, minus the one at 50.11 (my needle was acting up)

I feel like this has a good amount of the 80's classics...so if you love the 80's you should love this based on music selection alone. Lastly, all my mixes are always done live, in 1 take...so its never perfect by any standards...

any feedback would be greatly appreciated! thanks

cool set, I have a "back to the 80's" mix somewhere too...
-on a related note I had an all 80's cover band play before me last night. They were RAD!
(they were called the Spazmatics - and dressed up like nerds - and played almost all of the songs in your setlist and then some!)
Dj Bacik 6:51 PM - 10 July, 2011
80's? Good. Mix? Good. Makes it into my downloads for roadtrips to gigs.

Sorry bro, I recorded these mixes using "Tape Deck" with the medium quality settings selected. Never had a 320 kbps version.

Some 80's songs just stuck in my head as i grew older cause of family members playing some of these songs around me..and when i discovered my love for music/dj'ing around 2006, I heard DJ AM for the first time and i loved how he had a wide range of music in his sets. I did my research and always tried getting as much music as i could from any time period to build up my music library. But like someone stated before, this is very mainstream, but its the songs i remember mostly and thought the majority of people have heard at least once before to make this mix recognizable.

thats awesome alvaro, good to see you're diversed in music and open minded. the 80s was a great time for most of us...and musically, i think one of the strongest

Great mix for a' live recording. But I found one error in your playlist.

Track 17 isn't The Cure, It's either Yaz or Yazoo depending on which side of the Atlantic ocean you're on.
