Can I use Serato with sound card mixers such as the DJ Tech DJM303, Behringer NOX 404 and American Audio DV2 without the use of Serato's SSL Hardware?

Ha. Did that already... Love vinyl more. I was just curious to know if any other style sound card especially if integrated in a mixer other than the Rane TTm 57 could be used. I like that I can download Serato for free. The sound card is the issue. Zzounds.com has Play and Pay and that is my only other option.

How do you expect serato to make money if you download their software for free and then use someone elses sound card, LOL
Hopefully they will one day just charge for the software so we can use it with decks like the cdj2000's without the need for a box

Not that I recommend it, but I bet with enough cue points and good timing it'd be possible to keep a peak hour crowd dancing their asses off with just offline mode.

Maybe so, but that was still with TWO decks. Trying to pull that off in OFFLINE mode would kind of suck.

Just avoid playing whitelabel.net tracks. They still play at 32kps in Offline mode.

I love to tell curious onlookers that Serato is completely FREE! I tell them just go on Serato.com and you can download it yourself. They get all excited like they're going home right now to try DJing. I forget to mention that the $400 hardware is required.

before i got my VCI, I would use it for some gigs that didn't have decks and didn't want to pay the extra i would charge them to rent my decks. It came in handy for a lot of the restaurant and lounge gigs I did...
