Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Option to disable track deletion from the prepare list when loaded & on shutdown

The prepare list would be very handy for building playlists in advance and/or on the fly.

The problem is sometimes you would like to practice, review or return to it later to remove/add tracks.

Since it deletes the tracks on load you can't make use of it for this purpose, same as if you don't move it to a crate before shutting down. You will lose the prepare list because it will clear itself.

Also, sure you could create a crate and dump it in there but that is a manual process, especially you want to make any quick additions and review later.

I really like the Ctrl + P shortcut to dump tracks into the prepare view, I just wish you could choose to keep intact that list if you wish.

Indeed! +++++++1 Same for me. There are many more ways to use the prepare option if it shouldn't delete tracks after played once.

I also saw that this (very simple) request was already posted by others for years.

During puzzling and practicing a set, It would be much more handy to have a list that stays on top while you 're digging in different crates to look for the next track.

Imagine you try the next track, oops, no good, let's try another one. Therefore you first have to load the previous track again but unfortunately it dissappeared already in the prepare list...

What I do now is using a prepare CRATE. But a prepare crate doesn't stay on top while digging in other crates, meaning that you lose the overview...

So please serato, change the behaviour of the prepare list?

What's wrong with simply changing the color of a track when played like the crates behaviour?...
