Hi,
whenever I click on a thread which has unread messages, it takes me to the thread, but the unread messages in that thread are not highlighted in yellow anymore. Also it does not jump to the first unread message as it used to do.
FF4.0.1, Win XP.
Any further info you need?

I have this problem too nik, and it's really doing my head in.
To date, as far as I can tell, this only affects Firefox. I too have FF 4.0.1, albeit on a Mac.
But everything works OK for me in Safari. WTF?
I'll keep investigating...

OK, think this is fixed now.
It was an Apache config thing. We weren't defining a default character set for html content so Firefox would re-request the web page, hence forum messages were already read :-)

Good question, and I don't really have an answer to that.
Maybe a small implementation change in FF 4.0.1?? But that doesn't quite make sense either given that it was released a month ago.
Bit of mystery.

I noticed it last Friday.
I suspect the double request thing has been happening for some time but we made a small markup change (or something) that resulted in different observable behavior.
Anyway, fixed now and that's the main thing.
