Would be great to lock BPM's on old tracks from the 70's and 80's etc, tracks that were made before the "digital" age.
Autolooping - great, but would be good if the track continued underneath, silently so that when you came out of the repeating beat on say key numbers 1 and 6 (the shortest loop) it ran right into the next beat, or you can loop over certain parts of the song the way the censor button works.
Thanks for a great product!

BPM Lock would be very nice. However, this would be to process intense. It would have to be done while building overviews. I use Ableton Live to lock BPM's on old tracks. I then take it another step and add a 8 bar intro and outro for mixing.
Autolooping is coming in version 1.8. You can test it currently as an Easter Egg in 1.7.2. Do a search for it.

I know that autolooping is coming and is an easter egg currently. What I am proposing is that there is an option to allow the track time to continue underneath the loop so you can loop over certain sections then come back into the track, rather than just "stutter" the track, you could loop over an entire verse, effectively missing out the verse and come back in on the chorus.

I see. I've used a similiar feature in Deckadance. You can record a sample (preset to certain bars for a loop) and play it over a track.
If the loops were tied to the Hot Cues, you could easily go from one loop to another. img207.imageshack.us My suggestion below is to automatically skip from one cue to another.
Another request is to skip to cues seamlessly.

It's where you can skip a certain portion of the track seamlessly. You can:
- Skip to the end of the song for quick mixes. Great for Radio DJ's.
- Skip cuss words
- Skip long ambient music with no beats in trance music
- Skip a certain verse you dislike
- Skip right into a loop.
- You wouldn't have to edit your library of songs you want to quick mix.
- For practicing, you wouldn't have to wait to the end of the song before you can mix again. <- My favorite. I love to mix non stop.
