Hello.
I was at the store the other day and saw the new Vestax Controler One turntable... it has buttons you can use to play the record at preset speed/tones.
Basicaly enables you to use the turntable as a music keyboard.
Since there is already pitch control in the software (CD mode for instance) Could we assign preset pitches to hotkeys (or, if we ever get it, through MIDI control =) ).
I think that'd be a good thing to implement... loop something, and then play a melody on it with pitch presets, wheee!

I think someone suggested that under 'musical instrument mode'.
I'm not into it personally, but i could see why some would want it. It'd be a unique software feature on the market to.

You can already do this with a keyboard that supports audio samples.
*--Record the SSL audio signal at different pitch ranges.
*--Assign the different pitch ranges to certain keys on the keyboard.
*--Walla, hit a keystroke and get a different pitch preset.
Like Steve, I wouldn't be into this. But I can see why a musician would want "assign preset pitches". The Vestax Controler One Turntable is light years ahead of my brain.
