I'm thinking about ordering the 57 from them, they are giving me a really good price. I just want to know if anyone has ordered one from them to make sure this site is legit.

got my 57 there, they shipped it same day i paid for it, and i paid for it at like 4pm. i was impressed.
arrived 2 days later in the sealed Rane box, plus they were the lowest price i found.
Matt was very helpful and responsive via email.
100% Legit.

I won a bid for one and sent them a bank check last Friday.
I spoke to some dude named Matt on the phone and he seems legit to me.
Good luck.

Only problem is that EatMyBeats is gonna get dropped from Rane because of the low price! Just a warning for people who should be getting their $1200's worth of warranty...

Next time anyone gets a good deal from a reputable business on a Rane product. Keep it to yourself.

they aren't advertising below the minimum advertising price... so i don't see why they'd get dropped.
also, please direct me to where it says warranties are only eligible when purchased from an authorized seller. as i read the warranty page, the only specification is that it is purchased in the USA for USA Warranty Service.
The only warranty aspect that specifies an authorized dealer is the 90 day warranty on wear parts. rane.com www.rane.com
gotta read the fine print!

I've heard from a pretty reliable source that undercutting the average cost is going to make Rane and Serato pretty unhappy is all. Do what ya want. I got a great price for mine so i'm not worried. I just figured you should buy from a reputable and authorized dealer for the most benefit from your warranty.

It depends. I think Rane will honor anything bought while the store is still a preferred dealer. Rane seams to be a pretty stand up company.
I think the only thing you'd really have to worry about is returning it to the dealer directly. If they don't get Rane support they might not fix/replace parts if they aren't an authorized dealer anymore.

Good thing is Rane are built so well, you most likley won't need the warranty.

In working for a huge electronics manufacturer i can tell you that as long as dealer was authorized at time of purchase you will have no problems with your warranty. As for returning it to the dealer for repair or replacement that usually not how it's done. Most of the time the end user gets in contact with the manufacturer, gets an ra number and returns directly. Id much rather deal direct with the manufacturer than the middle man. Who is to say that the day i drop item off at dealer it might sit on the shelf for 3-4 days before shipping out. If I ship it I know that its on its way.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are an AUTHORIZED RANE dealer and have been one for years.
You can contact RANE to verify.
Not sure what's up this guy's sleeve---but we do adhere to MAP pricing and we are reputable----ask anyone who has bought RANE or any other gear from us.
If you have any concerns--give us a call 1-877-EATMYBEATS.
And thanks to those that do support us.......I wonder if DJ Tripp works at Guitar Center or something????-lol

Anyone ordered recently from matt (eatmybeats). Is this guy on holiday, or what?
I used to get prompt replies within hours.
Monday the 10th of december, he sent me a paypal payment request. I paid within a couple of hours for my TTM57SL and after that, it went silent.
Seven days of totally no response to any of my emails.
I just would like to hear a confirmaition like: Payment received, TTM57sl is shipped and this is tracking number.
But nothing at all. Maybee he is just taking a break and enjoying his holiday.
I don't know. Anyone a clue?
A little annoying, cause i would like to receive the ttm57sl before new year.....

Clearing customs can take a while. I had mine delivered in The Netherlands and it took 16 days (counting weekends) to get it shipped from miami.
I don't know if thoses guys at eatmybeats has declared the mixer low value for taxes, otherwise you could end up paying a lot of importtaxes.

I've send a mail to Matt but haven't heard back so far.
Can anyone point me to some more sites that are cheap and will send the 57 overseas? :-)
I can only find it for like 1500 euro's here, and that's about 2050 dollars...

I would advice you to email eatmybeats or djdeals.
They'll probably be happy to send you one overseas.
I emailed eatmybeats when I was shopping for my 57 and they would have been glad to ship it overseas (in my case Europe) to me, but I'd allready bought one from ebay when I heard back from them, cuz the weekend was in between.
I do not recommend ebay though.. In my case it worked out, but you risk voiding youre warranty when you buy from a ebay-seller.

I hope I don't have to pay taxes when the mixer gets into my country... The prices are still crazy cheap compared to Europe but still, if I can pay less I want to ;)

I thought the warranty is only valid in the country where you buy the mixer (i.e US in this case)
What does eBay have to do with warranty?

Yes. you can register youre 57 on the Rane site.
The 57 is factorywarranty only, so it doesnt matter if you live in the US or the UK. In both cases it had to return to Rane US.

Remember.. if anything goes wrong with the mixer you have to send it back. Pay shipping. Pay taxes again. No local distributor will be able to help you. Just a heads up.

You can order 2 mixers in the US for the price of one outside it... I think buying a spare one would be better than having local warranty. Also, your buying a top quality product, chances are you won't need the warranty.

Yes thats true, but the 57 in factory warranty only, so it doesnt matter if you buy it in EU or US (the dutch distributor of rane doesnt import the 57 for legal reasons). In every case you have to send youre 57 to the US. Thats just the price you have pay for using a 57 outside the US.

Thats not completly right. It depends on your distributor. In German for example if anything goes wrong the distributor will fix the mixer for you (if they are able to, if not I'd expect a replacement).

This is also the case in the UK where you are protected by the sales of goods act. In the UK any goods you buy which develop a fault can be returned to the store you bought it from who have to either fix, replace or refund.
If you import the mixer yourself from the US you are not covered by this. The UK price for a 57 is now £800 ($1600). If you can get the mixer for $1200 US, by the time you've paid import duty, VAT and delivery you are going to be near that figure and left with no warranty apart from one that involves shipping your mixer to the US for repair.
