Show 50 More messages from the Bottom not the top

I have found a bunch of times lately, especially on fast moving threads, that i need to see the next group of messages above the last few that show when i click into the thread.

At the moment, i can only show 50 more from the beginning of the thread, would be really great if i could show 50 more from the bottom of the thread.

Lets take the CV thread for example, its huuuge. I posted a link like a week ago, the only way to find said link, is to load all 10,000 messages in the thread, where as if i could load 50 messages from the bottom of the thread, i could click that once or twice and be done.

Faster loading for me, less bandwidth for you.

Yeah, I can understand the problem with the CV collectors thread. That thread is huge. the biggest in the entire forum, and I'm not sure that there's an ideal solution for dealing with discussions that are so large.

We never imagined that a thread would blow out to 10,000+ messages and I don't want to implement something that makes sense for that thread but doesn't work for other discussions.

But I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

"Load 50" loads 25 from the top and 25 from the bottom.

Doesn't really make a difference to me, but see how it would for some.

Yep, I've wanted that feature load 50 from the bottom for a minute - makes sense - especially on fast moving threads as well as the super long ones....

They said that it loads 25 from the bottom and 25 from the top, this should be closed.
