Email Alerts with Link to Forum Item BROKEN

Super annoying. I get a white label email on new releases. I click discuss and it takes me to the right place. Then when I get notice on replies I get a link that just brings me to the forums main page. I can't find anything after that so the email is useless.

Example of reply notice link: serato.com

Sometimes it works sometimes it does not...

Hi Christopher.

This sounds like a bug in the forum email logic. The emails contain links to the serato.com domain rather than the whitelabel.net domain.

I'll put a fix in place for this bug.

In the meantime, one workaround is to log in to serato.com with the 'Remember me' option selected. You can use the same email address and password on serato.com as you use on whitelabel.net. This will let you view the release feedback comments on serato.com, add your own comments etc.

Another thing you could do is enable the "Automatically track discussions you reply to" settings in the 'Forum settings" options on your settings page whitelabel.net

This will add discussion tracking to any discussion you participate in. Whenever there are unread messages in a discussion you're tracking "Your Tracked Discussions" in the side bar box on the right of the screen will display the number of unread messages.
