Chad am just curious does the mixer properly fit in that case if you have Rane 68 ears attached to your 68?
i mean was the foam in the case built to accommodate a Rane 68 with ears on it

I think it would...its a snug fit..but has a little flexibility.

What do you mean by ears? I think of flanges on the sides to extend its length to fit certain dj booths. If that is the case, I would say no, there isn't more than 2 or 3 inches on each side of this case.
I could be totally missing the question though ;)

I thought I saw a new version being worked on the other day. This one, the measurements are proper.

Hm, I just got the case and there is foam inside, so that a 57 fits. How do I make my 68 fit into this case without cutting or breaking the foam? It would be nice if I can use this case for the 68 *and* the 57.

I saw this case and I like it. The only thing is i have a pioneer 900 and a 12 inch mixer case wont fit cause its 13 inches. They added .5 of an ich!!! My question is I know the rane 68 is 12 inches flat on the width does this case have an extra inch to spare where I could cut the foam out? I cant find a case that will fit the 900 and this looks like it would fit with a cut. Please get back to me. And I know this was the 68 thread but just popped up on google cause ive been searching for hours. Thanks

These are custom fit cases…you could def. cut out more..it would be easy to do..but if you screw it up…then its an expensive piece of crap….I think Roadready and Odssey both make custom cases and they also have one you can cut to fit anything….I'd do that before cutting up something that was made for something else. Thats my 2 cents ;)

True..but you can't leave the mixer in the Case4 and hook it up…The other is the option to leave it in the case..which in turn will ultimately make it safer from harm…For me I got the case4 because I take out my mixer and tables from their cases to hook up…its just the way I like it…def. more work involved and I take a bigger chance on dropping or breaking something by doing this…but it is what it is ;)

I know this is an old thread, but I have the 57 Case from Pellican and I just cut the foam so either one can fit safely. I realized when I was at the store about to buy another one, that I NEVER have both of them out of the house at the same time.
