TTM 57 SL w/ Denon 3700 Hybrid Midi

DJNitro12 3:44 AM - 14 February, 2011
I just upgraded from an SL3 box to a TTM 57. I'm having problems with it using the Hybrid Midi. I used it just fine with the SL3. Also I have to have my wireless mouse unplugged with the TTM 57. Why is that? As soon as I plug it back in, my computer kicks the TTM off. Is this an IRQ problem?

To be clear: Your only issue is USB connectivity, not USB dropout?

Well, I think the usual answers of 'update drivers, firmware, etc.' apply.

However, I too use the 3700s in Hybrid. I also use the Launchpad and a mouse on a powered USB hub. I have run into some major dropout issues. I had to scale back the LED feedback data to the Launchpad, use a firewire external drive instead of USB.

After you resolve your connectivity, post some feedback regarding USB performance.

Cheers.

Nope turns out the problem is my i7 processor with the TTM57

How did you get around the processor issue as most new laptops will have an i5 or higher.

Hey Slimnasty,

Read here for all suggestions regarding getting your i7 machine working with a TTM57 --> serato.com

If you've tried all the suggestions there and your still having issues then unfortunately your not going to be able to use your 57 with that computer:(

tru a powered USB hub, i remeber having problems similar to yours. Bought a powered USB hub and connected denon's to it except the serato hardware(that is stright to PC) and it worked fine. i also have a i7 and i havent had issues after that. Even using turntables and ttm57.

Hey Denon, you hearing us? It would be cool

This request is falling on deaf ears. Denon has the know how to do it, Hence the Hybrid mode. Serato wants $$$$$ from Denon. So both sides aren't in agreement. Pioneer gave Serato the $$$$, so they are native. Not happy about this either. Just a little of topic. My Denon HD2500 was fully supported in Serato. It was supported approx 2 years. When version 2.3 came out, guess what, Serato dropped all support for the HD2500. Hmm just about when the 3700 battle started. Thanks Serato.

To the great people of Denon and Serato, please make my 3700's native. I use hybrid mode and LOVE IT! I just want my decks to light up and look cool. I know that sounds stupid. I'm only 12 yrs old in my head.

Funny you say that My partner will not use them with the hybrid mode because of the non lights
