It would be nice if the next update they include changeble skin, kind of like ableton live or winamp but more ableton...if possible........please.... :)

What would be cool is if Serato allowed people to design there own skins the way Propellerheads allowed people to do with REBIRTH. For now, i would rather have the abilty to strip down SSL to my liking an the way I like to work.

or at least options to change the colors. i don't mind the colors now, but i can see on some lcd screens, black and grey aren't the best colors to use.

Totally agree. The colors are not easy to distinguish.

changeable skin color and crates will be nice...i think it will be better custumizing our music..
i play all kind of music..reggae...soca..calypso..hip-hop..house..etc...
it will be nice 2 have all my reggae crates in one color..soca in another and so on....

i have a hard time concentrating on the black background when i'm at home prepapring my sets. if i could change it to a plain itunes color so its easier on the eyes for being prepared. its not like having a tangable piece of something to put in order. anything would help.
also it would be nice to have colors for crates (even itunes playlists) such as the highlight option on a mac finder.

i dunno if this applies to skins, but id like the option to disable/enable some of the displays... particularly the beatmatching waveforms... i think they hog up resources and all i really need are the overviews.

totally agree with everyone. to be able to have different skins to fit our personalities, or even be able to upload images as the skin would be awesome.
having the itch's skin would be really sweet too cuz the itch's skin is 10x better than live's. only modification to that would be to make it for the scratch live obviously.

I agree, on skins, because working out doors on a sunny day is almost like you blind, you must have a black curtain behind you to avoid reflection, at least with the option of skins you can try a deffrent one till you feel good that you can see, I would also like to custom color my creates to separate HOUSE from R&B giving you a quicker view and faster select option.

I spun on the infield of a Nascar event... (the fact that i'm proud of it makes me snicker, cause i hate racin', the experience wuz fun and the people we're...interesting...lol)

On two of the sunny days, (sunday got rained out..) it was IMPOSSIBLE to read my screen... I threw a shirt over the screen and just put my head under it when i was throwing tracks on...

Also wish you could choose text colors in the library and the crate, AND
when creating overviews SSL does root note detection... but that's for another thread...
