hello --i would also like to record a dj set--i have SL3 and (sadly) a Behringer VMZ 200...was hoping someone might be able to tell me what i should hook into from the SL3 to the mixer if that is an option....thanks!
Konix 12:31 AM - 20 January, 2011
Connect the "tape out" output on the back of the mixer into the SL3's Aux input, and set the dip switch for the Aux input to line (down).

Hi DjCandice B,

Yea Konix is bang on! Just connect the SL3 Aux input to the tape out on your mixer. You can then just press the 'record' tab which is located on the left above your crates.

Give that a go and let me know how you get on :)

many thanks and one more question yall might be able to help me with--the sound is quite blown out--i turned down the gain in serato as well as on the mixer but no cigar...sigh--any help is greatly appreciated!

Make sure you have the Aux's dip switch on the SL3 box set to line level, you probably have it on phono, which will make it sound loud and distorted.
