This seems to come up periodically, but the only thing keeping me from buying Scratch Live is its inability to play M4A files. I've ripped most of my collection to that format since I get better sound quality and smaller files than in MP3. I'm not looking for soething to play Apple's proprietary M4P files, just open M4A ...

This is the same reason that myself and four of my other friends are also holding out. My collection is also M4A for the same reason {size and quality}. I tried 3 or 4 methods of converting the files but the result of going from lossy formats to other lossy formats doesn't work well. I emailed Rane and got a quick response of we're working on it. Does anyone have any concrete info on whether or not it's going to be added and on which release?
