Invert tempo display

Basically what I want is an inverted tempo display in SSL. Right now it will move the opposite way compared to the pitch on your turntable (in battle position). If you increase the pitch on your turntable by moving the pitch slider to the right the tempo in the tempo display will move left. I think it would be more convenient if the tempo move in the same direction as the pitch slider on the turntable.

This could be an optional feature but I don't think that it would mess up for those using their turntables in regular position?

What do you think?

I can't follow you. The pitch slider in battle position goes from left to right, the pitch slider of scratchlive goes from up to down (matching a regular tt setup). Or are you tilting your laptop screen? ;)

I'm not talking about the pitch slider in SSL. I'm talking about the tempo display placed over the waveforms. Look for something blue and orange that moves left or right when you adjust your pitch on your turntable :-)

Got it nik?

Gotcha...

but isn't the tempo display another form of wave view? as a tempo increases, the gap between peaks decreases, thus the wave "shrinks" and moves to the left. as the tempo decreases, gap space widens so the distance between peaks are farther apart and the display appears to move to the right.

i think that most people here read left-to-right so the beginning of the wave view is based on the left.

You're absolutley right skinnyguy! It just feels a little bit weird when you move the pitch on your TT to the right and the tempo goes left. But maybe it's just me ;-)
