I bought a new labtop that came installed with Vista (didn't think that would have a conflict with Serato). I formatted and installed XP Pro SP2, but many of the notebook drivers weren't avaliable for XP. Forced to run OS Vista in order for them to install/work properly. I can't run Serato on my notebook.

How soon? I can't wait much longer...

The news is that it seems pretty stable, the only issue with Vista is a performance one and that could take a while to tweak

I have vista, and tried to install the vista driver BUT my laptop installs the device by itself... there is no window poppin' up that asks where the installation software is!? What do i have to do to make it work? thnx in advance

I have Vista and everytime I exit the serato program my computer crashes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You need to download the update and install the Vista drivers -->>www.scratchlive.net

I've saved the zip fildero for 1.7.2 but how do i set it up? Just opened up my new laptop and can't figure it out? Do i need to still download the program from my SSL disc?

Unzip the folder, the Vista drivers and SSL.exe file are in there.

I downloaded the updates for Vista and my computer still crashes as soon as I click 'yes' to exiting the program. Is there anything else that could cause this???

You need to update your driver manually to the Vista version
