Getting MPEG's instead of MP3's

I saw this written earlier and I keep getting the same problem. I'm useing Internet Explorer 7 because this site told me that some content wasen't avail. w/explorer 6. Yada, yada....I downloaded a grip of tracks and they keep saving as MPEG Movie files. I tried converting them to MP3's and I even typed MP3 @ the end of the name and I'm getting nothing. I can't play the tracks period, not even on windows media player. This site won't allow me to chage the save format, it's only allowing me the option to save as a MPEG or OTHER File. When I save as OTHER FILE and open it up, it's an MPEG movie file. What's the deal with this?

What program do you use to play your music (other than Scratch LIVE)?
Danny Blackstone 9:31 AM 12 April 2007
Windows media player

I only use the Windows media player to listen to music at home. Other than that, I don't use it at all.

Ok i just used RealPlayer and the file played. Every time I try to play it with Windows Media Player it comes up with "Codec missing to play file". I'm reinstalling Media player right now.

Alright, reinstalled media player and still getting the same note. I went ahead and imported the files into RealPlayer and their playing but the information changes on the file. I tryed importing the files to Serato from RealPlayer and shit didn't happen.... Everytime I try to down load from this site it's comeing up that you can only down load the MP3's as MPEGs, am I the only one that see's this.

I saw this happen b4 with other "services" and found out it was an ISP issue on one end or the other... might not be the same thing this time.. but could be
