TTM 57SL, TTM 57SL Record Utility, Audacity and Windows 7

I have the Serato TTM 57SL mixer, do I need the SL1 or the SL3 to record mixes? In addition, what is purpose of TTM 57SL Record Utility, and what adjustments should I make to it to make it work properly with Windows 7. I noticed that when I have Serato Scratch Live open, the Record Utility will say not connected, but if I close Scratch Live and still have the mixer connected to my laptop, the Record Utility box will open with things I can adjust. What should I do with those adjustment settings and is it working properly based on what I described? I guess what I am really asking is, can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to record mixes with Serato TTM 57 SL, TTM Record Utility, Audacity and Windows 7, and do I need to download anything else in the process? I searched online and Youtube and there is nothing out there that will help me.

right

when you have your mixer plugged into you laptop

go to record
then scroll down to mix

then press record

do you mix then once your finished your mix ....click on the record red button to stop recording..then name the file at the right hand side

your done

then you can open the file in audicity if you want to break it into individual tracks or whatever you want

hope this helps
