it would be great to be able to use you pitch control on you turntables like you can on pioneer cdj cd players.
there is a button you can hit in conjunction with the pitch lock. you can make your pitch control go from +/_ 8 to +- 16 or to +- 25. this gives you much versatility for playing downtempo with house and other multigenre mixes, or if a track is just too slow/fast.

has anyone asked or heard about this. i am selling my cd players and this would be great to see serato add this to the funtionablility. i read that some people took theirs back because of this.

anyone requested this or is Rane working to add this function?

Pick up some Numark TTX's. They go +/- %50. I mix Breakbeat with DnB all the time like this. Stanton STR8 100's also do the 8/16/25 thing, but I think they were discontinued. It would be cool to have something like a multiplier for the pitch adjust though. Thats a good idea dp.

I would like to see some sort of function that would allow this aswell.
Currently you can switch to internal mode and use the key commands to control the pitch.

that blows as a tactile ability for those of us that rally beatmatch. for beig the universally accepted format this should be more midi friendly. esp if you can dome up with the itch format.. nes pas?

There once was a post about this on these forums... had 300 responses... then it just disappeared. That was after the rane support had asked questions and implied the feature was coming. But it never happed. Seemed to many as if rane's solution was "buy a different deck or use CDJ's". Doesnt always work if youre flying from place to place... not all clubs have cdjs or decks with a greater pitch range than + or - 8. Suggesting switching to internal mode is just laughable.

oh yeah dont forget the hex thread with 170+ responses asking for the same thing
