When using the forum via https I am getting a few error messages that some content is not encrypted. Is this a know issue? Is this an issue at all? (Sorry, I am not an https expert)

Fixed now.

Just a pesky image that was still being fetched over HTTP.

Here is a firefox plugin which makes sure you always use the https site (it automatically rewrites urls from http to https based a ruleset you can define/change).

I assume this has to do with WL images being referenced via http, could that be?

Correct.

Those images are served off the download boxes. There are no SSL certs on those boxes so there's no simple fix there other than not using https.
