VCI-300 marketing question...

I've found very few (good) videos of DJs scratching on the VCI... I mean, you really need to dig thru youtube to find your above average ITCH scratch vid. Native-Intruments has done an excellent job at getting DMC level DJs to showcase hardware in promo vids... And yes, I've seen Rasp's V7 vids... but none for the VCI? The VCI-300 (IMHO) is the best controller offering a great balance between portablity and "scratchability"... and yet Serato couldn't get someone to rip them a good scratch demo?
I see a lot of users talk about how on point the scratching is with ITCH and the VCI 300, but I don't see a lot of vids...
And before I get the smart-ass, "well why don't YOU post a video Mr. DJ?!" reply, I'd like to say that any video that I make would probably be thrown in the "below average" scratch vid... lol
...perhaps there is an existing VCI-300 scratch video thread I missed?

it really isnt serato but vestax that needs to promo this unit and when it first came out there were a few scratch videos i remember TAKE had a few seems like vestax just doesnt have the marketing dept like numark for stuff like this.... i guess the just spend money on developing high quality gear and let it sell itself

I agree that Vestax has made quality hardware... but have you seen the Typhoons and Spins? Even the VCI-100 MKII case has been downgraded (IMO) to plastic...
Remember back in the day when Q-Bert and the ISP rocked the 05Pros and basically made that mixer the standard battle mixer for turntablists in the 90's? Not having good marketing in a field where there is so much competition is not a good thing... Vestax has made a great product but it will be lost in the sea of new controllers coming out...

not just that but it would be in the best interest for us the customer and user of Itch, for all controllers to sell better. Serato is just as responsible for marketing the capabilities of their software with the said controller.

DeezNotes did the BEST turntablism video on the VCI-300, IMHO:
Watchwww.youtube.com
Seeing that made me want to go and buy the NS7 - because they have about the same performance, but the NS7 has vinyl feel and motorized platters.

Agreed... for juggling... I've seen a few vids of DJs in the bedroom having pretty decent cut sessions... but not as many as I thought there'd be...

also think that has a lot to do with the ns7 --- scratchers knew the ns7 was coming out so maybe vestax choose to tone that aspect down... it can scratch but the ns7 can do it better but looping cuepointing i beleive the vci-300 wins
but heres on of my faves
