Tracks to play after a fight has been cleared out in the club.....

So where I spin fights dont happen often but one did break out recently. A massive one at that and the DJs at this particular establishment are told to kill the music until its sorted out.... aka the assholes are kicked out. So once given the head nod to start the music again I just simply played the track I had already qued up next on my play list. But then I started wondering.... could I use this situation and help supply some comedic relief. So I was wondering if anyone has ever run into this situation and decided to play some type of funny track after a fight has been broken up at your club. I assume popular answers could be Fight for Your Right by Beastie Boys, The Boys are back in town, Mama Said Knock You Out, or songs along those lines.
Any suggestions?

I would think sogns like those would just keep that fight energy up causing more BS

Who wants a fight in a club?
So, play everything (when you start again, after the break) that calms people down.
Not too relaxing, but hell not to aggressive, you can go there, but give em 5 minutes...
Play some R&B for the ladies or some Reggae.

Well... I got my start DJing at a club that used to be known for having fights. So the responsible part of me wants to say that you should a) probably not kill the music during a fight because that draws attention to it, which is bad, and b) if you DO have to kill the music because management insists, you should immediately go into another floor-building set full of the tracks that get the females back on the floor.
Now that that's out of the way...
Pantera - Walk
Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff
D12 - Fight Music
Onyx - Slam
DMX - Ruff Ryders Anthem
This is too fun... :)

Wow, that's some amateur BS, right there. A qualified manager would NEVER have the DJ stop the music when a fight breaks out. The proper way to handle it, is to get the situation under control as quickly as possible without ever drawing more attention to problem than absolutely necessary.
Regardless of how big the fight is, there will always be at least some people in the place that don't even realize that anything happened. When you completely stop the show for a fight, you immediately draw everyone's attention to it, and you also send a message that you don't now how to handle the situation properly and discretely.
I really don't want to go into a long explanation as to why the venue should have as few people aware of a fight as possible, but if any of you really need that explained, try googling something like "nightclub operation 101".
If the venue that you spin at has a "stop the music if a fight breaks out" type of policy, I'd recommend sharing this post with the boss.

Yo Quality made a track a while ago on his soundcloud account. It's not the chicken dance, but it's that goofy song that always comes on during those fast (on foot) chases from old shows. But it's a pretty sick remix, if I get some headphones while I'm at work today I'll find it and post it. I have yet to have a fight break out in the club (or at least that I was aware of), but I feel like it would be the perfect track to joke around and get people back to dancing

Man, I used to work at a couple spots that would kill the music, call it a night, send everyone home (usually around 1:45-2:00, but before last call even). Then, of course, there would be fights in the parking lot, police cruisers, etc...
I would beg and plead to the managers to let me keep playing, switch to some RnB or slow jams even, but they wouldn't have it... worst. management. ever.

That's because at a certain point, they aren't making any more money AT THE DOOR, so there's no incentive to continue, when they can "go home early".

Agree, never stop the music unless it turns into a major fight with several people in it.
After the fight, will often play a few seconds of Kung Fu Fighting, Macho Man, Barney, something humorous rather than inciteful. For an open format, Kiss by Prince is a good jam to get the ladies back on the floor. Funky, mid tempo, and has a cold ending, allowing you to go anywhere musically after that.
