Serato Software Feature Suggestions

What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Ability to lock F1, F2, etc...

When using my PC Laptop this has happened a couple of times where I don't have time to create a loop so I just hit the cue button in time with the beat and my finger slipps the slightest bit up and next thing you know I am in Absolute mode from Relative and have nothing but dead air...So the ability to lock the "F Keys" would be great...

It's happened to me a few times too so i agree, we need an option to lock it.

Or make it so that the only way to activate abs/rel/int would be a combination of more than one key. e.g Crtl+f1, Crtl+ f2, Crtl+f3. That way if we hit them by accident, nothing happens. I've gone to hit cue 1 numerous times & ended up switching to abolute mode. & if the needle is in the middle, you're screwed. SILENCE.

HELL YEAH! when i first started using serato, bringing up cue point on the number 1 key i would always accidently hit F1 and get screwed by jumping to the middle of the song or silence. i would definitely love this feature cuz i still accidently make this mistake. but only on my laptop because F1 and 1 are so close together on the keyboard.

I'm in!! This feature would be great, I'm sick of hitting the F keys when I'm quickly trying to jump to a cue points!

Its the curse of having fat fingers! ;)

Yessssss!!! thats the reason im even in the forum right now. Looking to see if it was suggested already so that if not i could suggest it myself. This problem happens to me several times a week if im not careful about it. when i dj hip hop or anything other than house, i use relative mode and i use the numbers to select cue points often and accidentally hit the f button, which sends me to absolute mode and you never know what will happen next.

I would say the same for some other keys also. The ability to disable certain keys in general would be a handy feature but more importantly the F keys please.
