Wow man... I just listened to the mix and I'm really impressed. Smooth transitions, lots of nice remixes & samples, great variety and just plain fun music.
Sounds like you put a lot of work into creating your own version of tracks, then performing the blends - or was it post-edited?
Posts like these are among my favorite in the forums because I get to learn how others are using their hardware. Thanks!

glad you like it man. ssl opens up so many possibilities i really wanted to make a mixtape that showed this!
there are a few mashups i made before doing the mix and a a couple of re-edits of some tracks to help the flow of the mix. the spoken word secions where mostly overdubbed afterwards in garage band but most of it is do-able live!
I am really interested to hear any mixes anyone else has done on a 57, or any videos while in full flow. the mixer has been around for about 9/10 months... im suprised we havn't seen more mixtapes and videos on these pages :(
thanks again for the love

Quality-where do you get all the spoken word samples?
Do you take them off DVDs in soundforge or is there an online resource for stuff like that?

Cheeba, you rock. I would like you to marry my 2 sisters, I will throw in 5 cows to the offer :-)
Top shit, loved the smooth scratching on top particulry in 'Mashin on the Motorway' and the way you braught in 'Midnight in a perfect world'.
Just wondering, how long did you spend on this one? and could you do it all live with just the original tracks?
p.s all,
much quicker download if your right click:
www.interestingblends.com
and choose "Save target as"
