I ran a search and found some good suggestions regarding this, but not quite what I had in mind.

What I'm suggesting is that the software allow the user to adjust the sensitivity of the B1 and B2 encoders. I don't know about other people, but it's a little too precise at times for me. One click of the encoder is one track or crate, but the space between clicks is really small and sometimes I'll overshoot a song and accidentally load up the wrong one.

I've found suggestion threads similar to this, and the idea I thought was best was a "speed sensitive" encoder:
