hey, first i want to tell you guys sorry for the comment i said recently, it was not my intention to say that, what i meant, it was rude and i was thinking that just if you guys play it, its great for me. My question is i am about to buy a new mixer and i have 3 choices that i want you guys to help me choose.
1)Vestax PMC-CX
2)Pioneer DJM-800
3)Pioneer DJM-600
the thing is i want to use serato, but i also want to use ableton for the effects and throw some loops here and there. I know the 800 is digital is great for cd's and digital for ableton. The PMC i like it for its versatility, i use it today in a friends house, and i really like it but i dont want to have another controller or interface for ableton and having a 1,000 cables. and i like the 600 it was or it is the industry standard.
what you guys think

I have the DJM-800... Let me just tell you, aside from the MIDI aspect, it's one bad ass mixer! The crossfader could be slightly better (i.e. the 56) but for me, because I'm not a scratcher, I think it's more than sufficient. And... the effects are awesome.

Look at the Allen & Heath Zone 92 or if you really want midi, Xone 3D.

I know someone who would be willing to give you a custom CD cover for 1,000 which includes a RadioShack 1200 mixer and a Technics DJ1200 DMC mixer to boot....
Sounds like a bargain to me...

ok now i really dont know what to choose....i was going to buy the pioneer cd players 800 for $700 each. and with those i thought i could buy the DJM 800, those 3 pieces are $2949. BUT i found a special in the internet ...2 Pioneers CDJ-1000MK3 and a Xone 92 for, 3,200. wich the 1000 are better than the 800 but i like the djm 800 better than the 92, both have midi but the djm 800 have amazing effects. what you guys think

djm 909 has 50 effects built in if you want effects. It has an adjustable crossfader. Cheaper then the djm 800 and Its great mixer for scratch or mix dj. I love it.

For what you are looking to do, either get the DJM-800 or the A&H 92 (or 3D). The package with the 2 CDJ-1000's and the A&H 92 looks like a solid buy.
