If I was out at a gig playing with the control vynil. what would be the symptoms of dirty needles and or records. also what happens if your threshold is to low. thanks also is their a section on the site just for symptoms. like if this happens it could be this or that. thanks for your help

youd get crackling noises and terrible feedback if dust builds up on the needles, just like if you were using regualr vinyl.

What I've seen from a loss of control signal is something like... the computer is unable to tell how fast the record is spinning so the speed fluctuates a little and the sound gets a little distorted. The tracking bar goes red and after that you panic a little and press the button for internal mode. Wipe your forehead, clean your needle and handle ya bizness.

It gets worse in a heavy fog scenario. I have to clean my needles every few tracks. My little needle brush does wonders.
