I would like to see the Auto Gain feature have a user definable parameter. From what I have seen the value of the auto gain is hard coded into the application, and there is no way to change it.

In programming it has always been said to never hard code any given value. For Serato I would like to see a user definable parameter box where users can type in a value (from 0db down to say -24db) specifying what they would like the auto gain to be set to, preferably accurate to 0.01 of a db.

that actually is a pretty good idea.

I would be good if you could do it for specific groups also. Like all my beastie boy stuff is really low so the stock auto gain level wasn't enough.
