I need a new mixer...I'd like one with effects if possible but I can't afford a ttm57 or a DJM-909.
Please recommend a mixer in my price range if you guys can.
Much thanks.

Although I don't really recommend it, the Behringer DJX-700 (Pio DJM-600 copy cat) is $179. The effects are pretty much useless though since they aren't beat sync'd.

Chau, how is the fader on the DJM-400?
Konix, I make it a rule never to buy behringer gear.

too bad you dont live near me, there's a shop down the street selling a 909 for $499, it's a open box display model but i can say it has never been plugged in, so it would only be touched on.

Fader on the 400 is the same as all the other Pio mixers (minus 909 and 707), crap.
I don't buy anything Behringer either, hence why I said I don't recommend it.
You might want to check out the new Vextax PMC-280...

ey yo, i suggest you finding a djm 707 ($300 range brand new, if you can find it) then adding a used pio efx 500 (i got mine for $220 used off ebay)
I wouldn't suggest getting the djm400, I'm sure you'll want to get rid of it sooner than later

Allen & Heath Xone 02. You can find it new for less than $400. No effects though.

find a USED TTM 56 --- things are made like tanks. If the faceplate is scratched up - buy a new one - Make it look like new and it'll sound new regardless.

get a separate effects processor, that way if you decide to upgrade again, you can apply them to that mixer or any other mixer that you gig on.

I know this brand is a four letter word around here, but the numark dxm 06 isn't terrible if you are not a full blown scratch dj. If you scratch alot, then I don't recommend it.
I have one I used on Saturdays. I have had it for a year and haven't had a problem. It costs about $250.

Right now I have a piece of crap gemini...
The only reason I bought it was for the USB outs so I could record on my laptop. The damn fader bleeds out and the left (# 1) channel eq kill switches don't work anymore.
It blows. Plus no efx.
