What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Normalize track overview and main waveform view

some of my files are low in the db department and so they dont show up very large in the waveform view. Im to lazy to normalize the actual file and re-encode it so it would be nice if just the view was automattically be normalized and took up all of the available window space

I actually like the view not normalized so you can tell if you need to turn the volume of a track up just by looking at it. But what would really be nice is a way to make your shitty sounding files sound better. Where is this program and how much does it cost? :-)

i would really like to have a normalized graphic for the complete trackview!

Then use mp3gain, it will change the waveform "height" of the songs as well as the volume.

i don't want to normalize my tracks, i just want a nice looking graphic

Well, the waveforms' height is directly related to the tracks volume, so if you have low volume tracks, you'll have low height waveforms.
