Combining Libraries?

I have a bunch of crates on an external drive and so does a friend of mine. Is it possible for us to consolidate our crates so that we both have each others music and cue points?

what happens when you plug both drives in to the same laptop??

ALL crates from BOTH drives should appear -all cue points/loops/etc. will be normal.

...and that's the best anwer you're going to get. Anything more would get into helping music piracy and that ain't happenin.

I see your point. Which sucks for me because I am trying to archive my vinyl, and it's all stuff we both own on record, just trying to consolidate our efforts, but I can see how getting into that territory could show someone how to steal music.

I guess I could just get another hard drive just for his files, but that seems kind of stupid to lug around two hard drives just to deal with file structuring.
