ok you got the 33 and 45rpm buttons in ssl. along the same lines of how that works, what if you could set serato up with a minimum and maximum pitch% adjustment range. you could use the entire range of your pitch slider, (-8% to +8) and the music would sound the same. ie at -8% the song would sound like it was at 0%. at 0% on the pitch slider it would sound like it was at +4%. and at +8% it would sound like +8%.

This would be dope. It would make movements on the pitch slider less sensitive and allow you to get bpms synched even better.

It would be especially nice if you could configure your own settings. I would probably go with 0-8% but Ive heard of some djs swearing against going over 5%. Hence they could set their range to 0-5%. You could even go -3% to 3% or whatever.

Obviously I am talking specifically about a tt with a -8 to +8% range but it could easily work for other tts and even cdjs pretty easily.

Also this would give you slightly quicker scratching response. If the record is moving 8% slower yet it sounds right, you would have to move the record 8% less to play the same amount of music.

I swear I searched first. Right after I posted, scratchlive.net was right below my post.

but rather than multipliers and all that what if you just entered in the range of your turntables (-8 to +8 for many of us) and then entered in the range you wanted (0 to +8, -12 to +12,...whatever you want) and let da compruta do the rest
