Mix without SL1 interface

I like to mix internally sometimes and would like to use the playing decks without hooking up the SL1 usb interface. It should be avaliable to registered owners only!

i would like this too. but unless your mixer has usb in, or your computer has 2 line outs, or some other configuration, i dont see how it would be possible.

Left deck goes to left side output of the soundcard, and the right deck goes to the right side output.

Oh man. So you are suggesting mono mixing?

Just when you thought things cant get worse, people convince you of the opposite.

Some people do mix mono. There's a stereo/mono button in the SSL setup screen.

Ryte. And then they use their headphone out, take it apart, split the signal and feed it to different channels. Ryte.

i only use mono if emergencies (as in a cable goes out and i dont have one to replace it with..) but other then that on modern system i would not use mono. I wish they would add one deck to be able to work with no box hooked up... but thats only for setting up Q's, loops, and pre-listening to tracks while you are not giging and dont want/have room to set up your full set up..

i agree. I understand they dont want people to be able to d/l the software and get the benefits without actually buying ssl, but if they could do this for registered owners that would be sweet
