I dont know what or if anything can be done, but i hate how the record is not very responsive to movment. you can spin the record slowlly and serato wont pick it up. its not even that slow....but when ever i kill the power on my technics to do the "slow mo" trick on a sound, the record will still be rotating but there will be no sound.....mabe im just being to picky but it would be nice if it was fixed some how.

Check your threshold and buffer settings, this affects how the program interprets the control signal.

Yup settings gotta be off, although make sure your cpu load can handle tighter settings. No proplems on Mac here. I run Serato WIDE OPEN and pedal to the floor. Screamin!

When I first hooked SSL about a month ago, I did some testing to see how responsive the movement was. I'll have to say my experience has been much more impressive than what you describe.
I tried moving the record manually, slow enough that Serato wouldn't track it. The motion was near 0 when Serato finally lost input. Performing a power-down on my table, Serato looses tracking just around 0.5 to 1 second before full stop.
I wonder if maybe your needles aren't giving a loud enough signal, or if something isn't right with the input gain on Serato. Try calibration, cleaning your needles, and maybe even swap to a different needle.
I'm using Ortophon Concorde-S dj styli, and I want to try their digitrack model....
