What features would you like to see in Serato software?

seperate bpm tag fields.. one for itunes to fix the decimal problem... one for serato.. one for mm ect..

take whatever data is in bpm... put it in backup bpm... take the measured data put it in local bpm... round and put it in bpm, so it displays in itunes correctly... make these three check boxes in the field visibility roll out... at least untill this is all sorted out and we get used to a workflow.. although i bet more than one person would like these to stay after words for some reason...

make a setup check box "browser edit mode" that auto unchecks after restart... make it so you can drag and drop files to other generas, ect.. and they will take that genera... have a write tag button to confirm the tag writing as a saftey feature...

ive got a bunch of songs.. example aquasky and masterblaster... some say aquasky vs masterblaster some say and ect... id like to change these without leaving serato..

Now its getting interesting. That sounds good, drag+drop editing.

and what about rating?... its in itunes.. its in tag and rename.. it has to be a tag of somesort to be read by tag and rename...

If you find out the (itunes compatible, which means iTunes actually reads it!) tag let us know.

nik, ALL i know is that i use tag and rename to do batch mp3 tag renames, and it has a rating system with stars, so why cant serato be made to have this too?

k-sharp, just because it has a rating star system, doesnt mean iTunes can read it.

the website says new features in latest version have rating system compatible with wmp.. i cant test to see if the ratings work in itunes for sure because im away from my pc right now... i cant remember, i just know the rating does NOT come up in serato, wich is a shame

but i really dont use itunes, i use tag and rename to fill in label, remixer, album, genera, year ect... tag and rename plays the files, and itunes just annoys me cause its tagging features suck ass...

if itunes uses some wierd rating, thats not a reason not to have the "real" id3 tag rating as a display option in serato... no?

and hey nik, what program do u use to tag on your mac os.. im new to mac.. i love TnN but i dont think they make a mac version... thanks

and it can rename folders too which is super dope :)
