What features would you like to see in Serato software?

Okay Okay, So the Video thing is cool.

Now will you please create an area on the forum where we can collaborate on our preparation for this. I don't want to wait till I get the feature to start finding good online resources for music videos.

I also want to be able to discuss who is using what Video equipment etc etc.

i agree - it would be cool if the developers could give us an idea (if they have finalised the details that is) of what video format it will use, settings that we should use etc etc... so everyone who will get the plugin will have videos already set up to use. i'm the impatient type that will want to use it immediately without having to prep my files!

I've experimented in length with video encryption, and regretably wmv seems to be the best quality and one of the smallest file sizes. PPPlease Serato, support wmv!! I know it's a long shot, but it's worth a gentle plea ! I finf that ImToo DVD Ripper, or one of it's clones, are excellent at ripping video, and they also rip audio from DVD's to mp3 etc, so you can use your files straight away. There are several companies that do promo dvd's ... DMC and PromoOnly are a couple, but have a search around. I use these two, and they do what they say on the tin!
