MP4 and he rotary mixer

I dont understand mp4 says no control vinyl or cd's so how do you mix and cue songs etc?
Laso who would want a mixer with rotarty contols ? what can you do with it?
1.3 rocks the speed of needle drop is amazing and the loop funtion rox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know, you mix with your mouse. As they stated on their site, it's for the wedding type DJ. Not for turntablist. You can still hook up your turntables to it though.

Serato Scratch LIVE software is included, and features a new control screen for the MP 4. The Scratch LIVE MP 4 control screen has the same great library management and file handling features, without direct vinyl and CD manipulation. This means that there is no control vinyl or CD with the MP 4, and all control is via the new on-screen features such as pitch-bending and nudging.

rotary mixers are prefered by a lot of house DJs. The point being you can get a much smoother fade with a rotary than you can with a line fader.
Personally I'm line faders all the way but I like to cut. However when bugged out was at Cream in Liverpool, plenty of cut and scratch style techno DJs would come and play on the Rane MP 2016 they had, including Dave Clarke and James Ruskin, and they would still cut the records up.
