Just wanted to say hello. Been spinning for over a decade now, just last week I finally purchased Serato, I wasn't sure when I was going to jump on especially with Torq 's release, but after seeing bad DJ's cop Serato I am well past the point of holding back.
I'm pretty good but this makes me so much greater. No longer am I needing to take 3 or 4 Road Ready LP Crates with broken telescoping handles, (I pack those things up to the brim), I have no limits on what I can play. Portability is a godsend, One of the spots I am at is upstairs and this is just so much more convenient. I can finally leave when the crowd leaves, you know how it is when the ladies/groupies are like "We'll wait for you," then 30 minutes later it's too late, they won't wait that long.
Believe it or not, I'm using it on a Dell Inspiron at 1Ghz and 256mb of Ram 20 GB hard drive. Below system requirements but it works flawlessly, maybe because I tuned it and rid of all unnecessary programs but it really works just fine. About to set it up on the Macbook Black, but in all reality I'll hold off and see how long this Dell lasts.
I've been watching this community for the past 6 months and signed up about a month ago. I'm quite happy to be here.
Peace
