I just picked up mine. Got it from Guitar Center who told me there is a minimum selling price of $1449.99 that just got put on the TTM57 by GC corporate. They even tried to go lower on their computer, but couldn't do it. I usually buy a lot of Dj equip at guitar center and usually get a lower price, but seems like they are sticking to the $1449.99. Good Luck to anyone tryin to pick it up from GC.
mexicannnnnn 2:04 AM - 15 February, 2007
Yaz, looks like your now out of luck. I heard a week or 2 ago from a little birdie that Rane was going to raise their prices.

Looks like its happening.

Even with the firm price, if you go in with proof of a lower price elsewhere, even though they can't do a direct price match in their system, you *can* get the price match by having them throw in additional gear to equal out the amount, i.e. get a Shure SM58 mic ($100 cost) to even the score. That is what I had to do, but that was ok, because I needed a mic.

I 'think' If the price goes up means the new ttm 57SL will be coming with the video update . So the ppl who bought it b4 the update will have to pay? Of course this is just a wild thought :) I want to buy the ttm 57SL but I'm still wating for the update.
ICYBLUE1203 10:35 PM - 21 February, 2007
How can someone get it for 1000 when GC locked it for 1450? Or even 1200? I know its eBay which I wouldnt trust first of all, but any feedback? I got mine from GC for cheap because they beat an online price?

I can't reveal my source because it was through a good friend at a well known retail outlet...I do not want to compromise his job....

Also...my cousin got his for 1150 at pssl...that's what I meant by being persistent....

Stop hatin cause I got a better deal than you can get....
DJ BIS 7:13 PM - 13 March, 2007
I am not hating, really, I would assume most users want to know places that have the TTM-57 for sale (not through a friend, possibly getting an employee discount or open box item...).

I guess its called "contributing" to the thread, Jorel. No amount of 'shopping around' and 'persistency' is going to get us that price...

So that's good for you, just not something anybody else can benefit from.

They have to have at least one physical location or they wouldn't be allowed to carry a lot of brands (Vestax requires a physical store to carry their brand, as do many other manufacturers).

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a store. It's a rather small room with a fuckton of lights a big ole counter and an assortment of speakers and the latest toys. There are no isles, you can't get lost and no hot chics. Essentially it's a dolled up willcall for the monster size warehouse that it really is.
Rebelguy 2:59 PM - 12 April, 2007

Dj Ryme 8:29 PM - 19 April, 2007
I have a friend who has a real good friend at GC and he is giving it to me for $1150, sounds like one of the best prices (I was hoping to only spend 1000)
Rebelguy 8:03 PM - 20 April, 2007
I am surprised he can do $1150. Every person I have talked to there (including friends) have said that there is a bare minimum that they have to sell for. Last time i checked it was $1400. They will throw in a bunch of wires and crap but they are still getting your money.
Dj Ryme 9:03 PM - 20 April, 2007

I'm sorry Res-Q, I do not understand your question.

You can see the specs on the Odyssey website.

The case, along with turntables and mixer never leaves the house.

My 12 year old son uses it when he is at my house.

I DJ on using two laptops and PCDJ software.

I may start using Serato soon, but PCDJ has some nice features that I use on a regular basis that Serato doesn't yet have.

These cats are for real. I just ordered mine on 6/26, and will be getting it on 6/28.

$1249 out the door

No sales Tax
Free shipping
Full Warranty
Free Rane TTM 57 T-Shirt (Size: Large) :o)

These cats, are not just sales guys, they're dj's as well using or have used the products they are selling to you. And to me that is Customer Service.

In my eyes, it's not always about getting just the great deal, but who your getting the great deal with.

I would highly recommend agiprodj.

I live in San Francisco and got mine from Matt at eatmybeats for $1185 shipped. I'm actually a little disappointed it's taken this long. My paypal went through last monday and it didn't get shipped out till Friday and I had to call them, it took a while for them to find my order.. otherwise I'd probably not see my 57sl till next year. They're apparently swamped with orders so perhaps you'll just have to hassle them a bit.

I also asked for UPS tracking # and a confirmation for my order via email, but still no word. I'm gonna be really annoyed if it doesn't get here on thursday like they said it would.
AdamJay 8:13 PM - 23 July, 2007
yea, he is swamped indeed. i ordered another one from him and im pretty sure they all went out Friday though.

Here's the deal I just got... 2 black technics 1210 M5G's and the 57 SL mixer for $2,047 (tax included). They couldn't drop the price for the 57 lower than 1,349 but they marked the turntables down at about $300 a piece. Man, I'm almost tempted to put the tables up on EBAY, LOL.

Yeah, about $250 higher.............then they told me I was a liar when I told them about the offer GC made to me because it's not what their GC contact told them he was quoting people, as if their GC contact is going to tell a competitor the truth. I've spent about $10,000 at AgiProDJ and I'll never use them again after this incident.

I was going to sell my SL1 also. I'm grabbing a 57 this wed. I really don't NEED the money from selling the SL1, but I can't see myself ever using it. God forbid something happens with the 57, I have enough friends with SL1s that I could borrow in a pinch.

if you don't NEED to sell it then don't. I GUARANTEE you'll end up finding a reason for keeping it before long. If you get in a pinch you can always sell it later...non-serato dj's are always looking for a good deal on a used sl1 box.

i got it for 1255 out the door at GC in southbay day after thanksgiving with there 20% off any single item other then that the lowest they would drop it before was 1300 plus tax. but they price match so if any body has it cheaper and lives near by someone else on here hook it up with receipt all you have to do is show it to gc and they'll give you the same price again. as long as it wasn't on a date like when I bought mine.

Thanks DJ.4Elven for the info. Eat my Beats is the cheapest bar none and if you buy the mixer with the plug-in it's $1375 thats like 25 dollars off the plug-in that includes shipping. Just the mixer is $1200 shipped to your door. Matt is a little hard to catch but I'm sure anyone would wait to save $300 + Dollars. I will go to GC today though because I can't wait to have this mixer so I can see how things work, I have ready started doing my remixes of videos using Adobe.

I went in the other day unprepared no info except what I read on this website and the best they would do was $1400 out the door. I told that guy I would be back, he laughed. So today I have all my paper work. Eat My Beats is an authorized dealer so I printed that page directly from rains website and they are selling it a lot cheaper and then I printed the GC page where it says they Guarantee the lowest price. I think I should be ok. I will let you know the outcome today.

For all you europians. It worth importing the TTM57SL from the states.

Price including shipping, taxes, custom formalities, administration costs, everything to get in at my door: 1000 Euro

Ordered at EatMyBeats. It took 5 fucking weeks to get it here. Matt shipped it immidiately the day after i paid him :)
But customs needed almost 3 weeks before releasing it :(

Make sure you ask Matt to ship it a custom value of 150$ instead of the real price.

Customs will ask for proove the mixer is really worth 150$ (the belgium customs did in my case) by faxing them an invoice and credit card statement.
So you have to be handy in photoshop to produce a credit card statement and invoice matching the custom value of 150$.

All togehter the mixer arrived for little less than 1000 Euro in total (shipping, taxes, custom formalities, administration costs, everything included).

Very happy, buying the TTM57SL in europe starts from 1500 Euro ex shipping.

So it saved me over 33%, by importing it from the states.

BTW, that does not sound legal for both parties involved. Matt from EatMyBeats.com as well as you. Also from my knowledge no authorized Rane dealer from the states is allowed to sell outside the states.

Besides this is nothing new. Just one of the previous exmaples: Mr. N. got one shipped to Australia as Gift with custom value of 100$

www.scratchlive.net
(post of 19th of december)

I rather spent 500 Euro on records than on civel servants who can't see the difference between a 150$ two channel behringer or a TTM57SL.
Those guys are just 'doing their job' (= waiting for the next coffee break)

TTM57SL for life

Don't do it man, there has been a flood of these scammers all over the place. Just go to Ebay and you'll see somebody selling a DJM-800 and 2MKIII's for $1500, but no paypal accepted! Watch out! I even seen some of these guys on Facebook trying to sell. They just want you to send a money order or Western Union, then you won't get crap.
I got my first 57 from Matt @ eatmybeats.com
check out these knockoffs (which don't sound too much worse than the real deal:)

Just be patient, jump on froogle.com (just google the item then hit the shopping tab)
stay on ebay ,and wait for the right opportunity to strike.
Don't wait for auctions to end, harass the seller into selling to you for YOUR price.

here is the lowest price guarantee link from guitar center. i'm going to try and use this along with rane confirmation that agiprodj.com is an authorized rane dealer so that GC can price match $1199. i want my rane same day babi. gc.guitarcenter.com
YZ3 3:36 PM - 20 March, 2008
Charlie Hood, let me know if that works. I'm getting my Rane from GC this weekend for $1349. They're throwing in cables and extra Serato Vinyls plus I get the peace of mind that if something breaks I can drive 1 mile to my GC and have them replace it. That said, I'll take the $150 in cash back!

Keep us updated>
DJ Charlie Hood 2:53 AM - 21 March, 2008
Ok. I emailed GC online support and they responded saying that they do indeed honor price matching with their online store but i would need to contact the individual store (Hollywood, CA) and check their policy. Which sounded stupid. So I called and told them that I had an email from GC online and an authorized Rane Dealer Agiprodj.com for rane ttm57 mixer at $1199. The store rep said yes, "As long as the dealer is authorized we will match." It's so funny because I talked to this same GC rep the day before trying to sell it for you guessed it, $1349. But, the online support email said I would have to pay tax on it. The actual store, I didn't ask about the tax, and have not went to purchase yet. That would bring the price from 1199 to about 1305. I don't want to pay no tax. Here's a link to the GC online support agreeing to price match any authorized dealer.www.guitarcenter.com

YZ3, i def would go get something back. i get what u are saying about the 1 mile peace of mind thing. But i'm also sick of paying so much money for everything nowadays. gas, groceries, and frickin mixers. GC will replace for how long? this can be a big selling point for me?
djtripp 4:39 AM - 21 March, 2008
Why not just go with AGI? The don't have tax OR shipping. They'll have better customer service, Ty is great. They also have great support and have been the most honest and knowledgeable online store I have ever dealt with.

My 2 cents.
Rebelguy 5:34 AM - 21 March, 2008
If you are in CA then you are going to have to pay tax. I just noticed that your posts are over two days. In the time it has taken for you to post and go through all this drama you would have had the mixer from AGI. Now if you order you gotta wait until Monday. They are good peoples and will get your back...which is more than I can say about GC.
DJ Charlie Hood 6:50 AM - 21 March, 2008
true. just i have a high school buddy out of town that owns a DJ shop and was going to try to talk him down again from 1200. man, this money is funny. and i always take my time with my investments. but yeah, he out of town, so i'm rolling with AGI. waiting a few days doesn't bother me. finding the right dealer and learning is key, even to learning how to be a better DJ right? Reb and Tripp, I have come to see that AGI is good peoples.
djtripp 8:24 AM - 21 March, 2008
I didn't have to pay tax. Flat rate from agipro. Everything i've oredered comes tax free cause they're in Oregon...bastards. ;)

YZ3 1:47 PM - 21 March, 2008
Thanks for the words Charlie. I got an employees name and cell phone # that he gave me when I inquired about it so I'm going to hit him on the cell and see if he can hook it up rather than having to go into the store and talk to him in front of his manager. They work on commissions so I can understand they've got bills to pay too. I'm basically just going to tell him I want it for 1200- out the door otherwise I'll order online.

Bah, with all this back n' forth I could've ordered it online and had it by now!

Yo Hood, thought you were ordering online? 1300 out the door? I paid $1259 and had them throw in another piece of serato wax to compensate for the $50 bucks more I was paying for buying there. Anyhow, it's better getting from GC only if you have trouble in the future.

I got my quote from Agipro also. This weekend I'm going to GC to get my 57 with CASH. I'm not trying to pay $1250. I want my 57 for $1200 no tax - period!!!! That's the price AGIpro quoted and that's what I want. I'd rather get the mixer from GC, but if they try to jerk me around with the price then I'll going to throw a hissy fit, kick a few boxes around and finally get the mixer from Agipro!!!

Good luck with that, they HAVE to charge you tax... it's the law. If you go in saying I'm only gonna pay 1200 then they'll have to do the math and mark the mixer down to like 1150 or something... which they probably won't do. It's a chain, not a mom and pop. $1250 is cheap enough for getting this mixer at a chain, probably as low as you'll ever be able to get it.

Hi guys

I'm from Canada and I was reading the price that you are buying them...wow!!! Here it's like 1800 !

By the way do you know a place that in the northeast (new york, boston, albany...) that I can find it under 1200 ?

Also, I know if I'm buying it in the states, I will not have warranty in Canada. But is there a really a chance that my ttm57 broke in the 3 first years (I'm not so hard with my mixers usually)? I mean do you think the warranty value the 500$ I will save ?

Thank you for your answers

I have 2 57's, the first one I got from Matt@eatmybeats.com for $1149.
I always noticed my mic sounded funny like the fx was engaged. Now that I got another one ($899 off ebay) and noticed the mic sounds perfect, I'm going to get my first one fixed by Rane as soon as these gigs slow down and give me the chance. Oh, The 1/8 headphone input cracked the first time I used it and my xfader cut-in was so sharp that it used to bleed until I adjusted it. So yeah, I'm glad I got the warranty on at least one. Even though none of these problems are major. You can buy a squaretrade.com warranty too.

seriously consider buyin in person though guys, i got my 57 and mpd24 from GC as much as i hated too. but being able to walk stuff in is great. Gives me an excuse to go to Hollywood and see the Melrose honies. i do use online ads to price match but the tax makes it bitter sweet. i paid extra $120 for GC warranty. final price 1300 i believe.

a drunk chick spills her drink on your 57, they fix no charge, no shipping.
Rebelguy 3:44 AM - 17 April, 2008
Watch yourself on the warranties. With the new changes at GC I highly doubt they are going to be as lenient as the salespeople have you believe. They basically only extend the manufacturers warranty against manufacturer defects. Best Buy (who happens to be in the same company as GC) used to spit the same game but they have since changed their tune.

Rane's warranty is 3 years and they will cover almost anything. I have one I just sent in for my club that had a drink spilled in it. I will let you know what the verdict is on the warranty coverage.

Thanks Rebel Guy! I got a quote from northern sound for $1,149 and used that to call PSSL. Now I got it coming with free 2 day shipping for $1,149 from pssl with free gold vinyl. They weren't happy about it, but man that was quite a bit of savings! What a difference from yesterday..

Who did you talk to at PSSL? I tried to call them today to price match a quote from Nothern Sound on a Xone 02 and they wouldn't do it. They were being dicks about it.
DJ Jonasty 8:12 PM - 13 May, 2008
I talked to Mike,(8218) and they were pretty hesitant about matching the quote. The guy was like "I'm not gonna make a cent off this, but since you're such a good customer..." I order from there quite a bit. I bought a DJM 800 last november, which is pretty sick but I paid full price. I told him I pay full price most the time so I deserve to get a deal this time. Oh, then I put it on my NAMM card, (6 months no payment, no interest) and then he REALLY didn't want to do it.. But I guess it's my lucky day.

The hard part will be explaining to wifey why I needed a new mixer when I've got a new one downstairs...lol

got the 57+case+video ssl plug in, postage from the states to ireland and import tax/VAT for just under €1100 total....ebay seller "unique squared"....he did however say to ups it was only worth $150 so vat was €50 instead of about 300...
compared to €1300(inc vat) for mixer alone from thommannn
and i think sennheiser ireland distribute rane goods-the 57 was more than €1500!!!!
just arrived the other day so cant wait to power the fecker up:)

I got my rane 57sl cheaper than any other place around, no sales tax, quick free shipping, from agiprodj.com The video plug-in was also a lot cheaper. Places I know around here couldn't even give it to my friends at cost for this price. I haven't told my friends as it would probably piss them off to know I got it for cheaper and quicker than they got theirs.
