Hi there well after going to sprint to find out that i had to put down like 400dls deposit for each line i need it (i have 5 with att) i decide to wait for the move, i liked the evo 4 alot but i dont have the money to move all 5 lines at this time besides been under contract with att for one more year so i bought the htc aria 2 weeks ago, but this week samsung release this phone with att and i had to buy it!!
I dont know if you guys are aware that ATT its the only company that blocked the android phones!! so you cant install non-market app! i think its bullshit! but at least there is a way around this already! =)
another bad move by att its the fact that they remove the flash and front camera of the samsung (because of the iphone 4) another stupid move but what can i say!
The phone still way better than iphone! 4inch screen and 1gig processor! + 16gig and 32gig expandable sd memory! =)

update:
after using this phone for a day i can tell you that:
1- its alot faster than my iphone 3gs i had
2-having swype already preinstall roxx =)
3-alot more functions with this phone like open contact and when you select the contact you want you can either msg or call by swyping the contact to the right or left (right call the person left msg the person)
4-sending pictures its alot faster !!
5-loading app way faster than my iphone

one thing that i notice though its the gps seems to be faulty ! works great outdoors but once inside your house or a building you lose your gps! they said they are working on this problem, so they might release a fix soon and also they said they will have a frodo update for it as well ;)

The gps is not faulty, most gps devices only work outside or inside near a window..

i just returned my iphones 4's apple can suck it.

I love my iPhone 3GS still but one of my coworkers bought in the the Captive and man it is sexaaaaay. Very nice phone, responsive and I like the UI Samsung runs on it.

I have the Galaxy S (aka Captivate) in my hands. My work got it directly from Samsung for free LOL.

My initial impressions is that the screen is absolutely AMAZING. The touch technology (nm) is layered into the screen rather than overlayed like most touchscreens.

Also this thing is super light. You would think it would be a heavy ass phone, but it's actually light, almost too light, where if you drop it, it would fall to pieces.

It also comes with swype.

I just swyped my ass with my iphone 4. Thanks steve for a phone that doesn't work as a phone.

sorry I'm not with that gay shit you want a guy to blow you wtf, (insert O dog in menace to society when he shots the cluck head for saying what you said , Oipow suck on that motherfucker) back to the iphone 4 I brought it had it for a week could keep calls had bad service dropped calls, just waste time with it, took it back to bestbuy got a refund then say the htc evo 4g so I was lucky enough to get one as she said the phone is sold out everywhere so I got it, got home and was blown away by the features this phone has, the iphone is so behind in technology its a shame swype on a phone omg video calls on 3g or 4g higher scene hd, need I say more these android phone is killing the market.also I can make calls.
