1. Who's attending?
2. Previous attendees, do you recommend the full convention or just the exhibition days.
3. Who's staying at the hosting Hotel?

and not a very good one at that. if you're a wedding dj and need to raise your game to the next level of being a really, really good wedding dj, i would highly recommend it. they have breakout sessions on exciting topics like, fun games to play and how to be a clown while entertaining wedding guests.
the very BEST thing that happened to me at mblv was that some company was there BLOWING OUT XLR cables at like a buck a piece or something crazy like that,.. I bought like 20 of them and i still use them to this day. it costs me like $6 to make my own XLR cables so this was worth it easily.
i also got TWO YEARS of urban music DVDs from VMS Media, which turned out to be a really good deal. about a third of the cost from promo only and thats where i started my music video collection.
thos two things made it worth it, but that was just by chance. who knows if deals like that will exist again.

a swift: Then, you've answered my main question: How many days should I attend? 2, the exhibition days only.

me personally, IF i went back, i'd skip all the sessions and go right to the product demonstrations on the showroom floor.
the sessions really weren't relevant to what i do as a dj.

a swift: I hear you, the main reason I've never attended a mobile DJ convention was because I felt that the majority of the cats who run the sessions or workshops are too corny or not dealing with my issues of being a bilingual dj and mc. I've always felt that the main focus are games and game show type of mc-ing, which would get me killed with my main clientèle, middle class professionals. So, I'll use MBLV as a way to find some great on site deals (hopefully), meet and greet sales reps that I might need in the future (especially for parts) and enjoy Vegas midweek. Thanks for your insight.
