How to get free open bar at your wedding

Last night I was telling my girl open bar is a MUST at our wedding. She doesn't want open bar because it cost too much. So I came up with a genius solution.
Wrap a cooler to look like a wedding gift and just stuff it with your own liquor stash. You could probably do the same with a keg. Save yourself a couple grand on crazy liquor markups.

This is where I'm having my wedding at.
www.jerichoterrace.com If you go to the tours section and click on penthouse room, that's the room we have.
Open bar is included in the price of the per plate charge. includes beer, wine, soda and top shelf liquor all night. Not sure if you guys have things done differently in the areas you live in.

Damn dude that's a nice ass venue, I'm sure that costs a pretty penny. Are her parents footing the bill?
My girl is in event planning and she says open bar is usually 5-10 grand depending on how many guest you have.

I wish her parents were paying. Me and my fiance are the ones paying for it. Vendors and everything.
I couldn't tell you how much just an "open bar" would be since they don't really work it that way here. We are having 225ppl at our wedding, and that's after cutting people. We both come from big Italian families.

225 people! DAMN! thats gonna cost a grip man.
I had about 150pp at mine and we only had beer and wine that we paid up to $1500 for our guests (which is what they actually ended up drinking)
Open bar would be hard to pull off if you have pp from the venue working while you BYOB lol.

If you have a REAL Italian family, you should be receiving some pretty decent gift$, which SHOULD help you pay for the open bar.
Tell your guests NO CHILDREN. That should help as well
