Kobe is supposedly courting Raja Bell. Raja's the type of player that Phil Jackson loves...lanky, savy old veteran. He'd be a perfect fit for the Lakers with his D and 3point shooting . If he isn't Kobe can just elbow him in the face.

It's either Bell or Brown. Lakers don't have enough money to sign both....and yes, that is without Morrison, Bmenga & Powell on the payroll. Consider those 3 guys out since their 2 new rookies (Derrik & Devin) are doing great on the summer league.

Lakers need Bell over Brown next season. Brown will be a great player in a few years but the Lakers need a great player (now) coming off the bench alongside Odom, Blake, Sasha & Walton.

Brown is obviously more athletic and a highlight reel on dunks, but Bell is what the Lakers need. You don't have to be athletic to be successful in Phil's system.

Too bad we can't dump Luke and Sasha. WTF were the Lakers thinking giving them huge contracts.
