if you have the money:
work on stepping up your dj rig first. technic 1200, rane or pioneer mixer, shure m44 or ortfon cartridges. there are other good brands out there as well. your on a SERATO LIVE forum so look into a serato system as well.
most parties/clubs should provide you with a PA (public address/ sound) system. this is a whole nother animal. PA s are secondary to your dj setup and a good one isn't cheap.
1st- call the person throwing the show and tell them that they need to provide the soundsystem. all you should have to do is bring your dj rig.
small PA minmum requirements/suggestions:
you need tops:
a pair of 12- 15 in. speakers minimum. stands are good because you wnat them elevated so the sound is dispersed throughout the entire room.
you should have a sub woofer:
they come in many sizes depending on how much bass you need.
you need monitors:
very important. the big speakers face the crowd, the monitors face you.
sound is directional(except for bass frequencies which go in every direction). the monitors are akin to your home stereo speakers. they should be pointing at your head so you can hear what your doing. djing w/out monitors is extremely difficult and not that much fun.
you need ampifiers:
akin to to your home stereo reciever. most club amps are two channel. more speakers= more amps. you can daisy chain them but make sure you have the proper amp for doing so.
a main mixer:
the middle man between your dj mixer and your PA. they come in all different sizes. plug your dj mixer into this mixer which in turn plugs into your amps which plug into your spaeker.
dont worry about buying a system until you do some serious research because there are tons of products to choose from.
and you get what you pay for.

save your money and take some..
A: spelling lessons
B: typing lessons
Once you have those two things mastered you should be ready to start djing.

do what i do:
spend all week prior to the gig and make a to do list.
then procratinate and not do anything on the list till the night before. then right before the gig, panic and scramble around like a chicken with it's head chopped off. then at the gig as you're setting up, you can kick yourself for not preparing and for forgetting that list at home. works like a charm :)

You know mr MC Sh*t Head... you may want to stick to being an MC... and not a DJ... at least not a working one. Seriously, YOU DON'T KNOW THE BASICS KID. You need to:
A: Know what you need.
B: Know to plug it in and use it.
C: Learn the ropes one way or another, but NOT ON THE BOARDS.. cause the kind of help you need will not be gained by asking folks around here.
D: You may want to consider taggin' along with another DJ who's doing gigs and learn from him/her/it (monkeys dj too). ha!
and finally E: Stop wasting your time, and most importantly ours. A truck driver doesn't ask people to tell him how to drive, he goes out and learns behind the wheel. That's what you need to do.

Props for your MC name though. It sounds even better the way sixxx does it with a "mr." in front of it.

Sorry--I think I misinterpreted the "chain being yanked" comment. I thought it meant that our chain was being yanked, like it's barrymccockner fuckin with us or something. Shit Head, if you're for real, don't give up.
