hello,
I am a instrumental hip hop producer considering the rane ttm-57sl for use in my live performances. i want to either remix/perform my music in ableton using the upcoming bridge software to incorporate serato and the video plugin... or if that proves to be too difficult i just want to develop a tight routine where i would take my original compositions and scratch and juggle them with video. i red in a previous post that it was hard to juggle video and make it look interesting (people had a lot to say about the transitions being whack.. and not choppy enough). i want to reconstruct my songs and reconstruct the video at the same time through beat juggling. if i cant do this though i guess it is probably not worth it for me... i dont think just showing the video move back and forth is intriguing enough. anybody know much about the bridge being made to incorporate the video plugin? would you recommend the 57sl to a scratch/juggle nerd looking to perform and incorporate bizzare-o visuals?
thanks everybody and all the best,
pz

never used ableton, however i have the video and TTM57. i cannot recommend it highly enough it is awesome.
as far as transitions go then there are about 20 transition effects for you to use, you will def find ones that suit your style. for example the 'scratch' transition allows very fast video cuts. check out 'beatamaxx' mini mixes on youtube as he does a lot of scratching
make sure you get a killer laptop with killer video card nvidea 330m at least.
