I am running the new mac book pro 15".
I can't get the cdjs to control the sratch live.
Do I get the midi control from the cdjs?
Can you tell me step by step to setup?

left cdj into INPUT 1 on the the 57
RIGHT CDJ into INPUT 3 on the 57
select the phono/line switches on the rear of the 57, 1 AND 3 PUSH DOWN TO THE "ON" POSITION.
USB from mixer into the computer
in the SSL setup menu make sure the input level is LINE, NOT PHONO.
put the control CD'S into the cdj's, make sure you are on track 1. NOT TRACK 2.
you should be good from there.

Native support for the CDJ-2000s was just announced and is coming in the next 2.1 version. So yes you won't need to control CDs, you'll just plug the CDJs into your computer via USB and control Scratch Live in Internal mode. However, you'll need 3 USB ports on your computer, one for each CDJ-2000, and one for the TTM-57.

If you want to use the CDJs as native controllers (no timecode CDs), then you need to connect all three devices to your computer/USB ports. This obviously means you need three USB ports on your computer. If your computer only has two USB ports then you need a powered USB hub for the CDJs (never plug 57/SL box into USB hub, always strait into port on computer).
