TTM57SL Effects are useless? They just don't sound right?

Well, by useless I mean, not like the Pioneer I was previously used to, the filters and flangers just don't sound right?

Now this could be in part due to me, I have no idea what the values should be on?! Maybe I've changed them and ballsed it up?! I loved how on the pioneers you can just select effect, hit the yellow button...perfect...on this it just dont sound right...the filters for example...instead of starting with the sound normal and then filtering...it starts with ir being already filtered and then goes to normal?!

Any videos or something I can refer to? Anyone else just not getting on with em?

Wow. Thank you for those links DJ Nyce. I just got myself a TTM-57sl and I was looking for information like that. A lot of stuff I need to get used to.

I agree with paddy. You should not have so many places to mess up the effect. Teh new effects player (6) are great tho.. I was going to buy a effects thing but serato save me $200 buts, now they want us to spend it on the 68
